Coach Dolenga, who owns and runs Gorilla Baseball Academy, lives right here in Lincolnshire. A short drive gets you the full program — training, technology and a travel club, all in one building in Vernon Hills.
From Lincolnshire Village Hall, it is a short trip up Milwaukee Ave — our facility sits just off Milwaukee, behind Lifetime Fitness, and just north of Stevenson High School as the crow flies. Close enough that practice does not eat your whole evening.
Distances are measured from Lincolnshire Village Hall. Actual time from your house will vary a little depending on where in town you are and traffic on Milwaukee Ave or IL-22.
Seven thousand square feet, six batting cages, one running HitTrax. Pull the cages back and the same room opens into turf space for defensive work, throwing, and speed and power sessions.
Everything runs out of this one building — private lessons, kids classes, camps, the indoor hitting league, and offseason team practices for Gorilla Baseball Club.
3050 N Main St, Buffalo Grove — about the same distance as the facility, just the other direction off IL-22.
Home games and outdoor practices run here once the season moves outside in the spring.
Matty, Gavin, Sammy, Eli and Max all make the drive from Lincolnshire — you have probably crossed paths with one of their families already.
We also play right in the area. The Lincolnshire Summer Slam, the Dalton Hinkle Memorial in Buffalo Grove, and the Lake Forest “B” tournament are all on our schedule most years.
And you have probably seen us already. The whole program is invited to march in the Lincolnshire Fourth of July parade, and we have for a couple of years now — the photo below is a slice of the crowd that turned out.
Not every family from Lincolnshire is looking for the same thing, so there are two doors in.
Open to everyone. Private lessons, kids classes, camps, and cage time — no team commitment required.

See 2027 teamsCoaches do a great job recognizing the unique strengths and talents of each player and use that understanding to help every athlete grow. As a result, players not only improve their skills, they also build a genuine love for the game.
— Scott S.The program truly has an emphasis on development not just winning … Jason absolutely wants each player to improve and eventually make their high school team.
— Jennifer F.One of the few programs in the area that can teach your child the correct way to play the game. Their pro inspired infield training is top notch and it won’t take you long to notice big changes in your kids gameplay.
— Michael L.Stop in, call, or send a note. If you are thinking about a team for 2027, the sooner we talk the better — rosters fill through the fall.
